Work from Home Wednesday
This is the clock that sits on my desk in my home office. I don’t watch the clock nearly as much as I did when I was in the cube and I can get up and walk away from this clock any time I want. However, if it was not for Jonah going to daycare every morning and needing picked up every afternoon I would probably work a much more erratic schedule instead of the 9-5 I still keep pretty regularly.
366 Page Comic Challenge 4/366
Page 2. This machine was also on the same page as the original sketchbook drawing. Not sure if they were related at the time, but fate has thrust them together.

366 Page Comic Challenge: 3/366
Electric Bill – mechanical pencil and photoshop
Concept was dug up from a one-time appearance in my sketchbook from sometime in 2010. Seems loosely based on my friend Bill who never really did get a Mighty Offender character when we were doling out lame superpowers. Maybe this is the answer.

30 Characters Challenge Accepted. Part 3: 21-30
Here are the last 10 characters from my 30 day challenge:
21. Unblemished Sketchbook Man - pencil
Unblemished Sketchbook Man adorns the first page of my new sketchbook. I use the cheap-o $3 jobbies from Wal-mart because, who cares!? I hate drawing the first thing on the first page, but USM was here to save the day.
Tammy (which was a mental modification of Tandy in my head) came together as the cranky mother of this happy robot. No skateboard though.
Mammer is the best roller skater on the block and wears the awesomest Jamz.
24. Lisa Pizza – ballpoint pen
Lisa is a cheerleader. Her head is a slice of pizza (with broccoli).
25. Snakeman Jackson – Sharpie and highlighter
Snakeman Jackson (who reminded me of “Wolfman” Jack the second I finished him) makes no sense to me at all. Corey had written the quote in my sketchbook before I drew anything. It’s from a line in a song from the opening of our 7th Chill Mix.
26. Sgt. Pinkerton – Sharpie and colored pencil
Sgt. Pinkerton has a pink skull and a ray gun (not to be confused with the Red Skull) and is apparently American… and an astronaut.
Dr. Nash has made a very unfortunate scientific discovery.
Bad Banjo Blob is a sentient glob of congealed High Fructos Corn Syrup. He plays the banjo quite well actually.
29. Pancake the Kitty – Sharpie and Crayola marker
Jonah described Pancake to me one day at the playground. I made mental notes and drew him/her here. “A fat white kitty with three green eyes and magical powers named Pancake” is what he said.
More like “Lady I didn’t feel like drawing hands” amiright?
Yeah! I completed the challenge and didn’t crap out! I have some extra-credit for this challenge that I hope to do soon. Stay tuned.
