Picked this up at a yard sale for a dollar. I always wanted one as a kid and it was on my Christmas list every year for way too long. Mom was probably right not to buy it as it’s incredibly frustrating. Jonah likes it though. He calls it “the green thing that works” and likes to trigger the bell at the end. The guy in this video rules it. Thanks internet for proving your superiority once again!
Sugru
Putty that bonds to any substance!
Neil Cicierega Hair-cut Choose Your Own Adventure
Neil’s catchy song and intriguing choices make for a fantastic time-waster. enjoy!
Hello and welcome back to the Friday Five! You’d think I’d have a bunch of stuff stock piled, but I only got reconnected to the internet last week and now that I’m working from home, I spend a lot less time dicking around on the internet. I’ll settle into a new groove though. In the mean time, here’s 4 videos to keep you entertained.
This is so real deal it’s awesome. That opening soundtrack and graphic is what irony-laden bands are striving for these days.
Kittens on DJ equipment
I want to believe this is real. Looks like this would be a lot harder to fake than actually letting some kittens go hog-wild on your equipment. They’re pretty good though.
Dubstep Mime – Dr P Big Boss
Weird lipsync with stock digital effect and the craziest teeth ever seen in a music video. This guy looks like he should be on Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
Speed pipe-smoking competition
Put this in your pipe and smoke it.
Creepy Scene from David Lynch’s Lost Highway
I’ve never seen this movie, nor have I seen much of David Lynch’s filmography, but this scene was indeed instantly chilling especially for what is essentially just a three minute conversation. Now I must track down and watch this movie before I hear anything else about it since the time-limit to not expect spoilers has long since expired.
These unaltered photos combine in your peripherals to create some truly horrifying shapes and faces. This could be an interesting training tool for caricatures.
This is beautiful. I used to do this to my Atari all the time. I always wanted to do a music project with the sounds and images.
Killer Queen sung by clones
I’m not usually a fan of a capella singing but this guy does a great job with the editing and can sing his ass off. I guess it’s not really TRUE a capella because he breaks out the instruments halfway through and that’s when it gives me chills. At least he didn’t pick Bohemian Rhapsody!
Crazy motion capture dance off
Pretty impressive with very little lag. I think the Gorillaz should look into projecting animations like this live on stage.
