Tutting?

Apparently it’s a thing? Sort of the robot dance for your fingers. There’s full body tutting as well. They make it look easy.

Bill Hicks on marijuana’s effect on evolution

I pretty much agree with everything this guy’s saying. I don’t know much about Bill Hicks, but I eager to look up some more. I’ve heard he was a big influence on Louis CK.

TPiR Cliffhanger Theme

My favorite. You know you know it! Yo dee oh dee Oh dee oh dee OH dee oh dee doooh OH dee oh dee doooh OH dee oh dee doooooooh

Old man shufflin’

Some old-timer got over-dubbed. Hilarity ensues. Reminds me of the Six Flags promo of the old man on the bus.

Drunk History Christmas Edition

Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, Jim Carrey act out Twas the Night Before Christmas read by a very drunk historian.

Time-lapse traffic in Vietnam

Traffic in Frenetic HCMC, Vietnam from Rob Whitworth on Vimeo.

Compare this to the time-lapse traffic footage from New York in Koyaanisqatsi and look at how organic and chaotic this is. Beautiful.

Black Friday Prank

Two guys make blind lists for each other and take them to Target to ask the employees for help finding the made up items. Turtle Mix? Mormon Disco Ball?

10 quick science tricks for parties!

You know… if you go to nerd parties…. like I do!

Scratch-built Lego farm equipment

This kid scratch built all the equipment on his farm out of Lego. Not only are they to scale, but this kid now knows how all the machines on his farm work. There’s a lot of talky talking in this video, but skip around to see the models.

NES Controller for etch-a-sketch

Handy for making those pesky diagonals.

Record 2-ball Labyrinth Run

Screwball Scramble Speed Run

Picked this up at a yard sale for a dollar. I always wanted one as a kid and it was on my Christmas list every year for way too long. Mom was probably right not to buy it as it’s incredibly frustrating. Jonah likes it though. He calls it “the green thing that works” and likes to trigger the bell at the end. The guy in this video rules it. Thanks internet for proving your superiority once again!

Slinky Drop

Excellent example of Newtonian physics at work here. Still neat to watch in the slo-mo.

This guy owns at the robot

Awesome dance routine to a dubstep remix of Pumped Up Kicks. This guy looks like liquid and the song is sweet too.

Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling

Sad to see so many people getting hauled off in stretchers after throwing themselves down a hill for a wheel of cheese. Looks like fin though.

An interview with Bina48

What a weird uncanny valley this thing lives in. Why can’t we send stuff like this into outerspace?

Flash Gordon Cartoon Intro

We’ve been watching the ’67 Spider-man cartoons on Netflix recently and it reminded me of watching the Flash Gordon cartoon with my dad as a kid. I think it came on super early and the weird creatures scared me (I can’t have been more than 5 or 6 when it originally aired), but I still remember being really into it.

1970s NASA video about colonizing space

This is so real deal it’s awesome. That opening soundtrack and graphic is what irony-laden bands are striving for these days.

Kittens on DJ equipment

I want to believe this is real. Looks like this would be a lot harder to fake than actually letting some kittens go hog-wild on your equipment. They’re pretty good though.

Dubstep Mime – Dr P Big Boss

Weird lipsync with stock digital effect and the craziest teeth ever seen in a music video. This guy looks like he should be on Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.

Speed pipe-smoking competition

Put this in your pipe and smoke it.

Creepy Scene from David Lynch’s Lost Highway

I’ve never seen this movie, nor have I seen much of David Lynch’s filmography, but this scene was indeed instantly chilling especially for what is essentially just a three minute conversation. Now I must track down and watch this movie before I hear anything else about it since the time-limit to not expect spoilers has long since expired.
