Big things are afoot. Yesterday held two significant events and I think it’s time to start documenting the transition.
First, Corey surprised me after lunch by announcing she’d bought us two tickets to fly out to LA for this! 
I have a piece in the show, but I’d already resigned myself to not being able to afford to go. Corey worked her magic on Priceline and got us tickets on the cheap, so suddenly we have a ton of stuff to get done before heading up to Dulles at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow morning. We’re trying to pack light and play it fast and loose on this trip and we’ll be staying with our friends Joey and JJ. Joey and I have an 8 page story in this:
which is how I got a chance to be in the art show in the first place!
Secondly, we put in three month notice with our landlords. Even though we don’t have a place lined up in Michigan yet, it looks as though the clock is now ticking for a September 1st departure from Richmond. Coutdown to Eaton Rapids begins…. NOW!
